I'm trying 2 decide on getting either a gateway laptop model #MX6920 or an acer laptop model #AS5102WLMI from circuit city's website. I'm not sure what the video specs are, so could someone plz look and see what they are and tell me if it's possible 2 replace or add a video card to a laptop and if so, how to do it? thanks in advance.

Rarely can u replace video cards on a laptop unless is d same brand and model. Otherwise nope. It is built in into the motherboard. If u into like games, high quality video editing etc, go for a desktop computer. Cheaper and much more reliable.

Very few laptops will let you swap video cards and they are REALLY expensive. Falcon Northwest makes one and I think the high end Dells do but that's the only ones I know. Even then you have to buy that companies upgrade card and theres no guarantee they will even offer it. So basically the answer is no.
