YOU OBVIOUSLY BOUGHT THE WRONG EDITION
mine has careers such as: drug dealer, crack whore, meth-lab technician, stripper, pizza delivery guy, and the coveted: live in mom's basement!
True -game is pretty unrealistic! I mean when's the last time any one you know won $250,000. for curing cancer or ending world hunger?

You have to order the special Keith Richards Edition. My favorite choice is Pimp For Retired Groupie-Junkie Hookers With Leprosy And Beer Guts.

Because some parents don't want there kids subjected to that kind of thing more than they have to be! As someone who used to do alot of drugs,my fiancee and I shield his 10 year old as much as possible. Without being complete idiots about it because we have talked to him about drugs. Maybe that's why he is still acting like an actual child. As opposed to kids of our former friends that, at a younger age than my ss, can already roll joints, know what a $50 meth rock looks like, and can pick out an oxy from a pile of pills. Yes I Know kids like that. And in case you were wondering children's services does nothing about it!!!

it's a board game. Actually it's not really about real life. It's kind of like "the path to the Cleaver lifestyle". I mean, you HAVE to get a job, you HAVE to get married, you HAVE to buy a house and you HAVE to retire. Why can't you die early? why can't you skip marriage?
Because it's a GAME.

Children grow up fast enough as it is. Games should be fun. Besides it IS a kids game. And if you ask anyone who is addicted to drugs/alcohol if that's what they wanted to be when they grow up.... what do you thinkj they would say? Yes! I want to grow up and be a crack-head.

because u'd have ev. parent rioting the store that sells it; besides, games r supposed to be for kids, not grown-ups. imagine having to explain to ur 10 yr/o what a prostitute is. they'll find out life sucks soon enuf so why ruin the fantasy?

Good point, I guess because they want that game to show you how life is a fairy tale which it is not.
