that Liberalism should be abolished and only conservatism be allowed or that Liberalism will fade away? Why do they think it would be better with one party and outlaw the others...isn't that fascist or Stalinistic...or at least unAmerican to support restriction to at least one of the articles of the Bill of Rights?

to "arewetheryet" your answer is what I'm talking about. I would never say that you are retarded, or mentally unbalanced because you are a Conservative. I might say you are being stupid, foolish or ignorant, but I would not attack you personally or decry you all as "child molesters"

also, I'm basing my question on the type of low answers I see applied to real questions on this site.

someone was right down at the bottom, the liberal calling someone retarded is wrong as well...it's one thing to say that was stupid, but another to say YOU are stupid.

adendum to last input, there were several revolting things by Conservatives said here, but really only one "retarded" answer by the Left actually calling names

I take issue with your wording, as it suggests All conservatives think that, which is untrue.
However, several of the responses do kinda make your point, don't they.
It the Rush Limbaugh-like hate-mongers that say we should all be deported, killed, tossed in prison, etc.
There ARE intelligent and reasonable conservatives, it's just that intelligence and reason don't get the air time that the screamers and haters do.

The reason a lot of us conservatives say that is not for some law or program to abolish that belief, its just that us conservatives see everything that liberals are for based on a foundation of lies. Don't get me wrong, it was good in the past, but that was a long time ago. Its whenever someone says "Bush is stupid" "conservatives are rich and only give tax cuts for themselves" "Conservatives are warmongerer's" "Global Warming is going to kill us all" this is the stuff that makes conservatives want to end liberalism. First off, bush is not stupid, that is another lie, and if you look at his IQ, that means nothing since no one truly knows what IQ measures. By no means are conservatives rich in all fronts and if they are, they worked for it. People like Michael Moore disgust us because he got rich by suing the place he was working for and then made some very twisted movies, and portrayed them as facts. Plus, rich people pay almost all of the taxes, and if you think about it, if a rich person has more money, what are they going to do with it? Invest and create more jobs and opportunities.
Conservatives are not warmongerer's. By no means does any rightfully minded conservative want to go to war, its just there is no other option in almost all cases. We want to spread freedom, by getting rid of dictators that suppress his/her people. Peace talks rarely ever work, and that is when we use force. Also, if they threaten the US, we also use force, or do not abide by UN guidelines and thus threaten other countries. Trust me, by no means do i want to see war happen, unless it is absolutely necessary. We conservatives are really sick of global warming crap because there is no proof. None at all, it is a theory in the making, and if it is possibly proven it won't be for many years.
Its when liberals start to lie about these things, and they get people to believe them, do conservatives resort to such unecessary means, we don't understand why(besides being totally ignorant and selfish) that liberals say these lies. That is why some call it a mental disorder, there is no reason for some of it.

Never in my life have I heard a Conservative say that Liberalism should be abolished. And believe it or not, Democrats are not the only liberals in the country. Some liberals actually vote Republican. So, I don't agree with your rant, and the Bill of Rights remains intact. Do some research before you ask questions like this.

Well I was going to answer this as best I could. However I read the other answers you received and it sems the only ones you pointed a finger at were the republicans calling crude names. I see liberals on here saying the same thing about republicans. I guess you are just bias so my answer would not mean anything to you.

This is exactly why I do not subscribe to political parties or popular labels. There is much extremist thought going on here, very similar to the mentality of street gangs. While all this mud slinging is going on, our country is in crisis both domestically and internationally. My concern is; who is doing what to fix things. For example it really bothered me when the press was questioning the president and he decided that a reporter's shaded glasses were more important to talk about than affairs of state...particularly nasty because the glasses corrected a disability. We need a president, senate, courts and house that are concerned about the well being of all people...this mudslinging and name calling is a waste of time and resources and deflects public attention from the task of running the country.

There should be no restrictions as long as the rights of others are not infringed.
Now consider politically correct speech and multi-culturism. Those seem to go against the freedom of speech.
Liberal philosophy taken to the extreme is seriously dangerous, and unfortunately in the quest for socialism in america, some in congress and in the dem party are way, way extreme.

Liberalism is not a political party but more of a personality disorder.
Many democrats are liberals who in case you don't pay attention to recent politics, are constantly and viciously attacking the republican party hoping that they may regain power.
When you grow up hopefully you will have a better understanding of the world.
