Sweaty pits are horrible! That's what I call them. I have had sweaty pits since I can remember and so does my sister. Now I use Maxim, you can get it offline. I have tried Certain Dri and everything else on the market and nothing seems to work. This deoderant you apply at night and nothing during the day. Your daughter won't get sweaty pits and she won't stink either. I've heard bad things about the injections, that it will cause you to sweat somewhere else...so that can't be good.

It's called Hyperhidrosis (aka excessive sweating). There are a number of solutions, none of which I've found to work very well. But they do help.
There is an oral drug called Glycopyrrolate that works but you usually need to take too much of it and the most common side-effects I got were severe dry mouth, trouble urinating, and vision problems. They also made my fingertips swell in the heat lol so I don't recommend them, maybe only on very hot days where she's sweat more.
I've been using Maxim wipes recently. They work okay, but nothing too great. Drysol is a liquid antiperspirant but to use it you can't have recently-shaven armpits, and it itches and burns like crazy. Wouldn't recommend that either. There is a surgery, but I don't know how much it is (dermatologist didn't know) and I;m not sure they do it anymore due to lack of good results. It pretty much just pushes the sweat to other parts of your body, never getting rid of the underlying problem itself.
BUT, I JUST FOUND OUT ABOUT SOMETHING:
Botox injections. Apparently, it's $,1000 for both armpits, and you'd need it twice a year. What they do is with a small needle, inject about 20-25 spots in each armpit and it actually works. It's expensive, so I'd suggest trying to get your health plan to pay for it. After all, Hyperhidrosis is a very serious condition and can cause depression, social anxiety, and effects mostly everything you do. Also, it's possible your daughter could participate in a study for Botox injections helping hyperhidrosis if there's one in your area.
My next dermatologist appointment isn't for a couple months but I'm going to ask about it, seeing as how it's my last resort. Good luck!

I would recommend taking your daughter to a dermatologist and maybe even an endocrinologist. The advice people have given so far have been good, but there might be other reasons for excessive sweating, such as a hormone imbalance. If not, try the different antiperspirants that people have recommended and dress shields are available at sewing shops such as Joanne's fabrics.

You might try buying her sweat shields to wear under her blouses. You said it isn't excessively smelly so that would take care of stains and those ugly wet spots under the arms. the following is a website you can go to to take a look.

Also I would think twice before going to the doctor for shots to alleviate the problem. The substance they inject is botox. There have been cases with botox that have resulted in the injectee getting botulism. Why chance it.

I have the exact same problem. I'll start sweating for no reason even when I'm not doing anything. It's just part of puberty. Mine doesnt smell bad either. I use Adias aluminum free deoderant but it doesnt really work that well. try wearing light colored shirts. It may be the type of shirt or bra she's wearing. Try a more silky material bra vs. a cotton one. That helped me somewhat.

Wear clothes that have contact to the affected area that do not show wetness and will wick the water away so it can evaporate. I wear a material called "dri-more". Fabric: 90%Polyester / 10%Spandex
