last weekend was my dads birthday party and this guy that really likes me was at the party,my boyfriend thought i was getting a little chummy with him. Last night i told him i was going to visit a female and she wasnt home so i went to visit a male friend the one that was at the party and likes me,so i told him i went to visit my female friend and he was outside and heard my car coming from the other direction,he caught me in the lie,so i sat there and confessed the lie to him. He wants me to tell him why i lied and why i would risk our relationship to go visist the guy that we had problems with on the weekend. Please help me out.

From what I am here you are not ready for a commitment your young. But if you care for your boyfriend you have to be honest why you lied. Tell him from your heart the truth, & let hom know that you regret what you did if you really do. Let him you that you realize you hurt him & that trust has been broken between the two of you. Ask him if you can have a chance to earn that trust back. Allow him to have time to digest all what has happened, and if he agrees to give you a chance to redeem yourself promise yourself that you will always remember this moment, so you will not hopefully make this mistake again....

well if he knew you were trying to get us to make up a story for you...I'm sure he would leave your ***. Hello! why don't you tell him the truth on how you really feel. you need to think yourself why you went over there...and tell him. people have attractions all the time to other people but if the guy you are with now is the one you like more then tell him that and the other guy tell him too how you feel so not too many people get hurt.

knowing that someone really likes you is always nice, especially if he's nice or goodlooking. maybe your bf isnt giving you the attention that your needing{ some deeper need you havent ponder yet] or maybe you felt because the guys really likes you , you owed it to him in some way to show him you appreicate the way he feels. thats hard to explain to the bf and doubt if he could grasp that. but it does happen.

YOU LIED BECAUSE YOU WERE ASHAMED OF YOURSELF FOR WANTING THAT GUY'S ATTENTION, AND YOU KNEW IT WAS WRONG TO GO OUT WITH HIM WHEN YOU ARE DATING YOUR BF EXCLUSIVELY. YOU DID NOT WANT TO BE TRUTHFUL WITH HIM BEAUSE YOU DIDN'T WANT TO DEAL WITH THE CONSEQUENCES.
FACT IS, YOU WERE ENJOYING THE ATTENTION OF THIS OTHER GUY. IT ELEVATED YOUR EGO. THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU OWE THAT GUY ANYTHING.
IF YOU FEEL MORE FULFILLED BY THAT GUY, AND WANT TO FULFILL HIM, THEN YOU NEED TO BE HONEST WITH YOUR BF AND LET HIM GO. HE DESERVES THE TRUTH.
SHOW HIM THE RESPECT AND BE TRUTHFUL, AND TRUST THAT HE CAN HANDLE THE TRUTH. HE WILL PROBABLY BE ANGRY OR HURT, BUT HE WILL GET OVER IT.
