Personally, I do not think it is. I think we've got significant problems at home and when we get those problems solved, we can move towards solving Israels or the Middle Easts in general. Or, we could solve ALL the problems right now and ARREST and imprison every government official on the planet earth and start over with honest men and women as our leaders. Thoughts?

FYI, I believe the real terrorists are in OUR White House and now, retiring from the British Government. Blair, Bush and all their minions are the terrorists. Too much evidence exists to support that determination to ignore it. All one would have to do is to accept that true evil exists and you will see, celarly, who the real terrorists are.

I am just an honest man looking at the evidence. And I see it clearly, who the real traitors/terrorists really are.

You are right InternetPost...! Iran is a sovereign nation and has the right to decide what is right for that country!
It is none of the business of others to dictate to Iran what it should or should not do! And, America with a bag full of 'double standards' is doing just that shamelessly and with hardly any effect on the other party - Iran! Seriously, America is sowing the seeds of Third World War everywhere -no good for the country or its people!

It will become our problem if Iran makes its own nuclear weapons and fires them at anyone they decide they don't like - Israel or US bases within range, for example.

Or maybe they might give a nuke to Al Qaeda - after all, who would be able to stop them? Imagine what a bunch of terrorists armed with a nuclear weapon could do. I can only imagine you think it's none of your business because you live away from any large city and have a nuclear bunker in your back yard.

The truth is that when a country with an attitude to the rest of the World such as Iran or North Korea has gets hold of nuclear weapons, it's EVERYONES business.

Radiation clouds don't stop at borders.

UPDATE: you say terrorists are in the White House and the British Government? I may not agree with everything that Blair and Bush have ever done but NO western government ever hijacked plane loads of innocent people and crashed them into buildings or blew up buses, tube trains, trains and nightclubs packed with people who had committed NO offence to anyone and whose Governments had committed NO offence serious enough to justify the mass murder of innocent people.

Like it or not the Iranian govt views us as their enemy. Leaving them alone will not change this. History shows us that our enemies have a tendency to attack us and our allies regardless of how nice we try to be. War is messy and unfortunately often unavoidable. Bush set us on a terrible path by starting an avoidable war, but we have to deal with the consequences in a pragmatic way. We cannot turn back the clock and the most important thing to focus on now is winning what battles we have, and limiting the capabilities of our enemies. If that means hurting even more innocent people, so be it. Better them than us.

It is everyone's business although the U.S. government make it seem like it's theirs alone, which would explain why they ignore what everyone's stance on it is. Iran shouldn't have nuclear weapons, but the the U.S. government should be the last one on Earth to judge that since they have more WMD's than the rest of the world combined. They feel that they're the world's police, so they're entitled to have enough nuclear power to destroy the world? I don't think so. Their example is not one to follow, and the "do as I say, not as I do" attitude doesn't convince anyone with a functional brain. The Iranian government might just be worried that they're next in the U.S.'s quest for oil, or they may simply really hate the U.S.A. and its government. Either way, they are not justified, but neither is the U.S. government. If they mettled less in foreign affairs, especially with their bomb-everything-in-sight method of approach, they wouldn't get so much hatred. I do not aprove of Iran's ways, but it's my understanding that poking them with a stick won't make them any happier or solve anything at all, it'll just stir the crap.

And yeah, you're right, they should focus on solving their own internal problems and fixing their country before anything else... but I suspect that wouldn't work to their benefit, if you know what I mean. The government is driven by the greed of corporations, not by the will and needs of the people. I agree with you that we should get rid of every government official, but not to arrest them, just to overthrow them from their seats of power. I would not recommend that we chose new leaders to replace them though, because as honest as they'd be, once they found themselves in a situation of power over others, equality would be undermined and corruption would be a strong temptation. If there was nothing to feed one's greed, then maybe we could trust that honesty would prevail, but money (which equals power) corrupts, and any man with a will strong enough to resist that temptation would probably be too wise to even want to be in that situation. As long as we don't find an alternative to currency and economics as we know them, I'm afraid greed, selfishness and corruption will prevail.

No one should have nuclear weapons, that goes for Iran and North Korea as well as for the U.S.A.. The rest of the world has not granted the U.S.A. authority over the world and the U.S.'s power does not give them the right to decide they're better than the rest of the world so they can choose to be excluded from the hypothetical list of countries that shouldn't have weapons of mass destruction. Sometimes I wonder if the self-righteousness of the U.S. government and of so many patriotic american citizens and military officials has any limits.

Actually it's non of US business what Iran does. It's nobody's business.
But Iran's progress makes many people freak out including those despot regimes in the region which are backed by the US government (Egypt, Jordan, S.Arabia, ...)
It's because of one of those dangerous dark ages environments where Iranians are saying "The king is actually naked" against common belief. This will break US hegemony forever same as what happened to the British during nationalization of oil.

Well, you are right, bush is definitely a TERROIST!!!

AND NOW, BECAUSE OF THAT, WE HAVE TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON IN IRAN. IF WE NEVER WENT OVER THERE F'ING AROUND IN THE FIRST PLACE, WE WOULD NOT BE IN THE SITUATIONS WE ARE IN TODAY BECAUSE OF BUSH!

BUSH HAS CAUSED MORE PROBLEMS THAN A LITTLE BIT!!

What we have to do is pay attention to who is being appointed to be our president. bush was not elected by the majority of this country. he was appointed because he stole both elections!!

How can we make sure this sort of thing never happens again in the future? if he could get away with being a RULER instead of a president, he would do it!!

We as Americans are now hated around the world because of bush and his cronies!!

they haven't any helping hand to lend, they're in our concern, oppressed with the help of their authorities. we haven't any company of their company, it is basically the preamble to further armed forces adventures. it truly is exciting in spite of the reality that.. if I shop in ideas wisely, Iraq replaced into the position the backyard of Eden supposedly replaced into, and east of that Canaan, now Iran. I ignore the position i have considered this, besides the undeniable fact that it truly is been more desirable than two times. Take although you'll from it, yet take great thing about your rights and use them.

the Iranians have an agenda, which is not a secret, and that is to reestablish Muslim dominance in the world, with an emphasis on the Shiite version of Islam. their agenda calls for the use of violence as an integral part of this agenda.
This agenda is an immediate danger to Sunni regimes in the middle east and central Asia, to non Muslim countries in the middle east and central Asia, to secular countries in these areas. If their version of Islamic revolution is successful it will flow into countries in Asia and Europe.
They must be stopped or at least changed into something more moderate

Um, have you been listening to Iran's president. Yeah, um, when someone says they want to destroy you then it kinda becomes a problem.

FYI, it not just the US that's upset....it's the UN. Unfortunately the UN won't be able to do a thing about it. Iran is breaking lotsa "international" laws and not "United States" laws. We're just one of Iran's targets.
