Last time i tried to download it it gave me a trojan virus. Is this what it is, just telling you that message to scare you and give you a virus. When you download it to scan your computer.

You need to get a very strong firewall and an anti-virus. I had that problem in the past. Then, I installed window washer, which deletes all cookies and temporary files from your computer. Is really good. Every time you switch off your computer the window washer will clean your PC. Also, I have installed a program called Ad-Watch, which blocks the silly pop ups and undesirable websites! Try these programs and you will see a difference in your computer.

Regards

Never click anywhere on one of these windows, sometimes the X is not a close button, its an install button.
To close an unwanted window just press Control + w or Alt + F4.

You need a firewall, Ewido anti trojan, Ad-Aware SE Personal and use Firefox instead of Internet Explorer. When you install Firefox you need to instal the Java plug in from the Mozilla Firefox site.

Before attempting to remove malware you must switch off System Restore as back up files will be hiding in there, and it will just restore itself. Go to Start - programs - accessories - system tools - system restore.
Run Avast and Ewido in Safe Mode. To get into Safe Mode repeatedly press the F8 key after the bios screen loads but before Windows loads. You'll know if you made it because the screen will be at 800 x 600 and your pc will be slow.

Then beef up your security. Its easier to prevent malware getting on to your sytem in the first place rather than trying to remove it.

The Windows firewall doesn't stop malware on your pc from dialling out. Either of these firewalls are free for personal use and stop unwanted incoming and outgoing traffic. You choose which programs are allowed to access the internet. They are both fairly easy to use and updated regularly.

Instal both these web browsers, turn off javascript on one and use that browser for vising unknown websites. They don't support Active X so thats one less way for problems to get on your pc.

Winpatrol is a handy utility that tracks cookies on your pc and stops unwanted changes to your startup folder.

Spywareblaster works with Internet Explorer and Firefox. It won't uninstall spyware that is already on your pc, but it will prevent hijacks and other malicious changes to your browser.

yes its just a trick to get you to download the file. The way to not getting spyware/trojans is not to open anything that looks suspicious or you don't really trust, have a virus scanner running and use firefox not IE.

DON'T DOWNLOAD IT! It's just some scam - It took me about 5 minutes to make it stop popping up. Unfortunately, more and more of these sites appear...

Basically you need a Pop-up blocker or something, these things are made by dicks who just want to ruin your computer.

You should never download anything if you don't know where it came from. Go into your settings and block pop ups, this should stop them from coming through.
