HOw ould do you have to be to get a free make-up makeover at the department store?

i am in junior high and i am wondering, how old would it be polite to get shade match-ups at the department store makeup counter (eg. clinuqe, mac,)

I think it would be ok to go now, but you should probably go with your mom because otherwise the sales people might not take you seriously.

I dont beleive you have a particular age, I think if you just go up to the counter and show that you're interested..but let them know that you're not too sure how to go about choosing the right shades for your skin tones, then I'm sure that they would be happy to help you out :-)

I just have a free make-over at a department store today, learning to make-up "smoky eyes". The consequence is, I also bought about 21 items (NARS cosmetics)including eyeshadows, eye-pencils and brushes, eye cream, facial cream...etc, amount to approx. USD 1000.
So, it's not really free.
