ok, let me get one thing straight, i only found out two days ago, and i am trying to find help for her, why would i be asking this question if i didnt care or i wasnt her real friend? she has been my best friend forever, and if we fight because of this for a while it is fine, as long as she stops.

If your friend is physically harming herself, you're not being much of a friend by allowing her to continue. Talk to someone about it! There's places she can get low or no cost care.

I am not sure how she is hurting herself, but you sound very concerned about it. I know you want to be loyal to your friend and keep her secret, but by doing that you are only hurting her. It's not like she has a crush on a guy and you spill the beans. This is her life and you should definitely tell her parents and maybe a school counselor or a doctor. You could even talk to your doctor and tell him/her the situation and they could refer you to someone that can help her and tell you how to go about doing it.

I really hope you don't keep this secret. Sounds like your friend really needs help. And in my opinion...if she told you then she is asking for help in her own small way.

Self Harm isn't good it's addictive but not everyone needs proffessional help although i'd advise it. Give her a link to this website http://www.recoveryourlife.com/default.aspx tell her to read it and you read it too. If you said you wouldn't tell don't tell just be there for her, I know it's hard, most of my friends do self harm and i've done it too and what my friends and i all need/needed was support.

good luck

I had a chum that used to do the comparable ingredient. i myself hated it. contained in the long-term, it extremely is worthit to tell somebody approximately your persons difficulty. She needs to be helped, merely considering you will discover the bruises, she would be internally hurting herself, she would desire to be causeing recommendations injury. I advised My acquaintances parents, she have been given help and we are acquaintances nevertheless. She would get mad for awhile, yet contained in the long-term, she would have the ability to make certain you have been in basic terms attempting to assist. i desire i helped..

TELL HER TO TELL HER PARENTS AND ASK FOR HELP, OR YOU WILL TELL THEM YOURSELF. SHE WILL BE ANGRY WITH YOU UNTIL SHE GETS HELP, BUT IN THE END, SHE WILL LOVE YOU FOR HELPING HER.

TRY CHANGING "I CAN'T" TO "I AM NOT WILLING TO".......

OBSTACLES ARE OPPORTUNITIES IN DISGUISE. THEY ARE CHALLENGES TO 1-OVERCOME SOMETHING, 2-LEARN SOMETHING, AND 3-IMPROVE SOMETHING.

YOU ARE HER ONLY FRIEND FOR A REASON. YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE WHO IS WILLING TO MAKE EXCUSES FOR HER, AND WHY SHE DOES NOT LOVE HERSELF.

IF YOU KEEP THIS SECRET, WHAT KIND OF FRIEND DOES THAT MAKE YOU?

You should talk to her in private or you can talk to your parents about it if that works.
