Have you ever had a " Psycho Holiday" ?

OMG yes! One year all the family came on Christmas Eve and were spending the night. My hubby and kids and I had already decided we were going out of town and they came anyway!

So, I made the turkey and stuffing the night before, so they could have food at my house while I was gone, of all things. My half sister came over stoned out of her mind and started screaming and yelling at everyone and knocked the turkey off the counter into the floor and my hubby finally had to physically remove her from the house.

Most of the turkey didn't hit the floor, so at least it was edible. The next morning we leave and about 10 minutes after we get to our destination the phone rings and the people at my house called to bit**, of course. The problem? The person I told to put the stuffing in the fridge the night before didn't do it and it was spoiled and they didn't realize it and put it in the oven and the whole house stunk like spoiled food!

To top that, on the way home that night, there was freezing rain and we hit a spot of black ice and almost wrecked. Talk about a psycho holiday! That is it.

Hmmm, can't say that I have. Though I have been known to watch "Psycho" with the volume down on the TV and Madonna's hit "Holiday" blasting on my stereo. Now that is a trip.

All my holidays are psycho. All the dysfunction, death, controlling people, I have never had a normal holiday.
