I agree that inequality exists between different races. To say that everybody is equal is to turn blind eyes to the facts. Everybody is equal is a goal we have not yet reached.

With that said, every race has limitations imposed by themselves and the society around them. To overcome such limitation is strictly up to the individual.

It is perhaps the time for for individual, not the entire race (as no one represents everybody in the particular race), to recognize this, and take the opportunity presented to them.

There has been so much emphasis on finding a blame. When people do this, most of them find such blame on everybody around them, but not in themselves. White man this, black man this, immigrant this, and Muslims this..... Blaming others never helped anyone, and usually makes it worse.

Opportunity is everywhere, but hand-outs for successes are rare. Waiting for such prepared success may take longer than ones lifetime. Taking available opportunity and running with it can start today.

The world is not fair. What are you going to do about it?

By the way, don't believe everything you hear or read. They are only someone's oppinions. Examine it and reach your own.

The following applies to all people of all races, colors and ethnic backgrounds.

Education and literacy are keys to personal growth, preparation for suitable employment, building strong families, service in the community, and making a meaningful contribution to the society in which we live.

Those who are successful are also wise stewards by exercising good judgment in managing and replenishing their resources.

Social and emotional self-reliance is an important part of success. No one is immune from the challenges in this life. When social or emotional problems arise, counsel and support from qualified individuals can often be helpful in becoming self-reliant.

By keeping oneself in good physical health we are better able to take care of our own needs and serve others.

Lastly, a person must be willing to WORK. Suitable employment also gives men opportunities to improve their talents.

The other races in Africa have the money. I'm really not sure; I've never asked or been. You might want to go over there sometime to get a primary look.

I think the other users thought you meant African-Americans...

I don't know why they assumed African loops all of us together but whatever...

First off... the person say "many times" and statistics show that black males are among the poorer .

For those who said it's racist... it's not. The person is just seeing what has caused the gap between blacks and whites in my opinion... Of course there are rich black men. There are rich men of all races...

(Citation 1)According to the report, it's due to several factors...
-- Blacks have more than double the unemployment rate of whites.
-- Less than half of blacks own homes, compared with more than three-fourths of whites.
-- Black youth are more likely than whites to have poorly trained teachers, live in poverty and not have health insurance.

Hope this helps

They live in a country ruled by a white minority, they don't enjoy the same opportunities in education and business, unless this is changed the status quo will remain in place. As a black person in America I see the slave mentality at work as a crutch for not succeeding- this is not the situation in Africa. A real problem exists.

Shi'a Muslim links and animosity towards Israel AND ANYONE WHO ISNT THEM. Islamic fundamentalism's push for Sharia and an Islamic State has come into conflict with conceptions of the secular, democratic state, such as the internationally supported Universal Declaration of Human Rights. This conflict centers on following issues:
1..
rejection of the priority of universal rights and civil law upon religious group rights and religious law, and more specifically
2.
rejection of the equality of men and women (i.e. they are unequal in specific aspects like how they think and act but are still equal overall)
3.
rejection of the separation of "church" and state;
4.
rejection of some religious rights, such as the right of Muslims to leave the religion, while the right to be a non-Muslim in Muslim lands is still allowed.

As a result of this sharp conflict, many doubt whether fundamentalist Islam is compatible with modern liberal democratic states
Islamic fundamentalists throughout the world, from the Ayatollah Khomeini to Osama bin Laden, have never hesitated to take recourse to violence, including murder, terrorism and kidnapping to attain their goals, or in some instances, just to draw attention to themselves.

Dennis McNamara, director of international protection for the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees in Geneva, said in December that tougher qualifications for asylum in both rich and poor countries are threatening the lives and safety of displaced people almost everywhere
.
Restrictions are increasing, McNamara said, with the "mixing up of refugees and illegal migration, drug trafficking, terrorist issues."

It is time to recognise the extremist religious canker in our midst and cut it out –– even if it means revoking these thugs’ citizenship and deporting them to Lebanon and or Iran where, I have no doubt, they would be welcomed with open arms by Islamo-fascist terrorist groups.

What a racist question. Do you realize it? You are categorizing by saying "African men." You mean every single African man? So many people on this site do this and don't realize that they are being racist. It always starts with "Why do white people, black women, Mexican men etc..." I get so tired of seeing this "I think I am superior to you." attitude. Get educated and show some respect for all cultures and stop grouping them into one.

They no longer wish to be part of the economic process that brings success. It's too "White".

For example, in many inner city mostly minority schools, academic excellence is called being "White" and is looked down on by the 'in' crowd.

because they say things like "Still existing slave mentally?", "How can it be fix?", "Please back answer with book, online, ect ect references", "opressed", "cultrual", and "eduction". if you could say "Does mental slavery still exist?", "How can it be fixed?", "Please answer back with book or online references.", "oppressed", "cultural" and "education" you'd make more money.

"They live in a country ruled by a white minority"
ummm..... no. when you state facts in the future, try to make sure you know what you're talking about first.
