help me on pc games/ sims 2! what should i buy???

ok they have the sims 2 holiday edition it comes with the sims 2 and holiday edition for pc but do i need to but the sims 2 first then the hliday edittion?? when the holiday edition already comes with the sims 2..

You are right to ask and be sure.

There are two Holiday releases that came out.

One is the "Holiday Edition" that includes the Sims 2 game.

The other is the Holiday PACK which is different. It only has fashions and holiday decorations for an EXISTING sims 2 game.

I have the Sims 2 Holiday Edition. On the BACK of the CD case it will say on the RED part -

Includes The Sims 2
plus 40 Festive Holiday Items

So the game is complete -you do not have to buy "The Sims 2" in the plain case. When you open up the Holiday Edition, you will see 4 CDs included. The manual comes with the game and has your serial code on the top at the back of the manual.

It's a great and fun game. Go for it. :)

The Sims 2 for PC is an incredible game. But not all computers can run it. Before breaking your back to get the game -- Do check out your system specs to be sure you actually can play the game. The expansions will need yet more resources so they have separate tests:

For the sims 2 you need at least a geforce 4 graphics card and yes you have to buy the original sims 2 game before adding the holiday expansion.But If you're going to get an expansion pack for the sims 2 i would recommend the sims 2 Nightlife(it's my favorite).It comes with cool cars,eating and shopping downtown,and plenty of other stuff to keep you entertained.
