When Constitution says " No person " it does not mean only American citizens are protected. A lot of you miss this point. God help any one of you if you are falsely accused of involvement in a terrorist act- and you can't see the evidence or know whom your accuser is.

Yes. You do know what you're talking about, except you skipped the 6th Amendment which is the more relevant one.
The people above who argue that the Constitution applies only to citizens apparently skipped that day in grade school when they learned to read words. Try actually reading the Constitution, even if you don't ever bother reading the cases that confirm the rules.
The 6th Amendment applies to all "accused" -- anyone prosecuted by the govt, which the Supreme Court recently cofirmed for the third time in as many years.
And the argument that "the terrorists get to do it, so why should we obey are own laws" -- my gods people, are you really that stupid. The terrorists get to do it, so we should to? Are you insane?
The Constitution sets restrictions on what our government can do, regardless of who they are doing it to. Bush just refuses to follow the rules.

Do you think maybe that is why Bush and crew pulled the illegal out of the Country prisons? (Violation of Geneva Convention) Yes, and he has been cited by the Supreme Court three times now for war crimes. How much more evidence does the American people need to impeach Bush and Rumsfeld?

If you haven't seen the terror manuals that they found in afghanistan, they have whole chapters on how to clog up the court system and take advantage of our civil liberties. Just as they used our airliners against us, they use our liberties and everything they can find against us. Did we give japs plucked off the battlefield lawyers? or did we interogate them to save lives of Americans?
Someone once said, that if hooking up the testicles of one Iraqi terrorist will save the life of just one American, then there is one thing to know, "Red is positive, Black is negative"
We are at war for our survival, remember this this monday.
The constitution is not a suicide pact, the dems like telling us "It is a living breathing document" ie, any interpretation goes.

First of all the Constitution only applies to America, Not Cuba
The crime was outside of the US and they are being held outside of the US so anything goes.

Why should OUR constitution apply to foreign terrorists who want to blow us up or cut our heads off just because we are Americans and don't have the same beliefs as they do.

Bush says it's OK, that doesn't make it true. And he's says it's OK because he has no respect for the laws of this country whatsoever. And our laws were written to apply to all people equally regardless of what country there from.
