why do people answer question with their own stupid opinon of the question your asking instead of the answer?

Sometime the question cries out for such an answer - perhaps to keep that sort of question from clogging up the forum, perhaps because the people answering are human too and can only tolerate so much - I admit, I've been guilty in the past, but only in the spirit of contextualizing & streamlining the free exchange of ideas,never out of malice (I hope - I'm one of the humans too)

Maybe because they do not know the correct answer, so they use their opinion to answer the question at hand to sound smarter then they really are. That's one possible reason. I always use google to look up an answer. It works most of the time.
