Yes. All the families of the victims of 9/11 were paid compensation heavily by US government and also various other voluntary institutions. They all also got free medical aids, advices. In fact American public themselves contributed more than 2.7 billion dollars for the fund. Over 250 charitable funds were created and enormous amount poured in from all quarters. And the kinds of the victims got unbelievable financial helps.
I can give a long list of funds collected and benefits passed on, if you require.

Personally I cant see why you even went down this road! Why the hell do YOU want to know ? I sat in front of my TV and watched the twin Towers fall, I was speechless, I had no Family in the Twin towers, but had business contacts in there, it was the most unbelievable event in recent History, so " profitting from it" is just a horrible expression to use. Dont you have anything else to think about ?

just in addition to other ways in which they profited eg Govt, Charities, there were many huge life insurance policy pay-outs and i've actually read that in a similar way the stairwell b people who felt guilty for surviving many of the families felt guilty for getting so much money which is silly but they did

How could you profit financially from such thing. Let me tell you all the cash they can get out will never be enough to call it profit after such a loss.

I know that they all lost emotionally. Anne Coulter is the harpy, not the bereaved wives. She needs to keep her big mouth shut. No amount of money can bring back a husband or father.

What an awful question to ask! I sure hope none of the survivors ever see your question. That was a devastating time for them.

They received compensation they were due, but I'm sure that most of them would give it all back to have their loved ones with them again. I still mourn with all of them for all that they have lost, and I wish them well.

I know that I did not. How much is a human life worth these days, what ever it is, it can never replace the loss that we are going through...............................
