apply good quality Danish oil at least twice a year before summer & before winter. Danish oil is the best dont use teak oils or other wood oils..its a bit more expensive but it is bloody good

Watco has a wipe-on oil specifically for teak. You can put it on as often as you want, depending on how fast the piece is drying out. I used it on a bathroom vanity I made and left the can with the customer. I would say as a rule of thumb, it's good to apply the oil with the change of seasons. IF YOU can afford teak wood garden furniture, you can have a professional cabinet man apply a coat of marine grade acrylic every few years

There are two ways. 1) as above which will keep it looking brownish and 'new'. and 2) Just leave it out in all weathers and it will acquire a silvery protective coating all by itself, which you should not attempt to rub off. I find this the most attractive look. The choice is yours.

You need to oil it regularly with a specialist oil - try B&Q or similar or garden center and take it in in winter to qavoid wet and frost

Use a good quality Danish Oil (eg Rustins) .... at least twice ayear .... but carefully read instruction on back of can about disposing of the oily rag !!!! because it can, sometimes, self combust/ignite !!!!!!!!!!!!

Linseed oil is inexpensive and widely available,apply in the spring and just about now.
