I have the same problem!!! Right after I shave I use "Johnson's No More Rash" Diaper rash crream with zinc oxide.
Works wonders!!! Use as needed at other times, as panties tend to irritate that area as well.
Alot of the products such as lotions, contain alcohol, ouch!!!

I would say don't shave. I have the same problem and nothing works. I tried the Baby cream with Zinc Oxide and it did not help me. Waxing works great but is really painful, if you are doing a brazilian. For just the bikini line it's okay. You can try a depilitator but it is painful as well. If you are willing to spend some money and time there are a lot of products available on the internet for ingrown hairs that you can order.

i used to get that all the time. Try using a man's razor and only shave over a section no more than twice.
don't use any cream and if you must wait until the next day.

I heard that applying baby oil to the area immediately afte the shave and before completely dry helps.
Otherwise, why not try an electric shaver?

Try makeing sure your skin down there is taut when you shave. Be gentle and not haphazard with your strokes.
