I still have confidence that the American experiment will survive. We may not be in the best of times, but we have a great history behind us and the potential for a great future. We all have to do our part to make this a better place to be.

Everything in the world is cyclic. At the worst, the Dems and the Cons will just throw our country into a civil war(hey, it happened once, who says it won't happen again?) Or may be, just may be, we will have honest political leaders(there's an oxymoron if nothing else) that will usher us into another golden age. As of right now, I have absolutely no confidence in Bush and his facade of an administration. I do, however, have confidence in America and its citizens that we will restore our standing in the world. I think that instead of doing their duties as OUR elected officials, they would rather choose to fight among themeselves. Where does it put us in the middle class? And sadly, nearly 40 million of our fellow citizens that live below the poverty line? Stuck between the trenches.

I have confidence in America but none in the President. America will bound back after Bush leaves office and someone who is competent can clean up the mess he is making
