I have to agree with Summer_Lebowski, "The Big Lebowski" is one of my faves. Others are "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon" and "Iron Monkey".
"The Big Lebowski" is very clever and totally hilarious. If you can deal with a lot of bad language, that is. I know this turns some folks off.
"Crouching Tiger" because of the great mixture of martial arts action, romance, and the Chinese scenery.
"Iron Monkey" is great for a lot of those same reasons. But it's also quite humorous.
Other faves include: "Kung Fu Hustle", "Fight Club", "1984", and pretty much anything with zombies.

GHOST with Patrick Swayzee and Demi Moore is the most amazing movie of all time. There are a lot of good ones though but they just don't come close.
