I want to know what are the rules the management of the school should abide?

if its a recognised school then definitely there is a law enforced by the govt on them. if they are appearing for a board exam which i think your students would be since its a matriculation school u have said, then it has to be affiliated to some board, either a state of CBSE or ICSE. as soon as it comes under some board it will be under some law enforcement for sure.

Your question is vague because you have not mentioned the problems you are facing in the school. Every institution is run according to the rules and regulations made by the government. Whether the institution is aided or unaided, it comes under the perview of the government.
