i had music files and pictures
i was browsing internet with wi-fi in my hp rx3115 and downloaded something to the storage card
after the downloaded completed, i saw some strange folders with symbols ¦á¦ñv-W.T+·(name of the folder)....
i am not able to access my old files. But that is not my problem
the storage card shows some occupied memory
i'm not able to format...........
it says read only memory,protected,used by some application etc
what should i do to format my storage card
sorry i'm posting this here because there are more people here to answer

Hmmm . . . I don't know what the problem is. If you can download your files again, unplug the drive and plug it in again. Or you can reboot with the card plugged in instead. That usually works well. And check to see that the write-protect switch is in the correct position to allow writing to the card. Maybe you can contact the manufacturer of the card for better information if that doesn't work.
