Actually they are not answers to a question!
It is a dialog.
Somebody is bringing up a subject by asking and everybody in turn and without interrupting each other are expressing their views on that subject or just using their humor.
It is a perfect conversation.
Is it so strange for people to share opinions for "nothing"?
Probably in a time when people would sell even their farts in order to make money sharing thoughts it may seem strange.

I enjoy the opportunity to search my mind for a correct answer and then to express it intelligently enough for comprehension. It keeps my mind active and as a result, helps to keep me focused.

Because people ask questions and this is the way I behave when people ask questions. It is my nature as a social, communicative animal.

Because deep down I feel that perhaps people will read my answer and learn that a logical argument has value.

Because it helps me think clear and learn about other people and their problems and maybe learn how to solve my own. It also helps my English and spelling a lot.

becuase some questions i know how to answer...so maybe helping people ...and sometimes i see some really intresting questions and i answer as away to draw attention to things and give my honest opinion...so thats it...to help others or give my opinion...;)

Maybe people just want to open a topic for discussion.
People enjoy hearing other peoples views.
It helps to broaden their perspectives.
