I think it's a cultural thing. My mom and grandmother HATE snakes, spiders and rodents. Then there's me, who is the absolute opposite of them. I love snakes. I even may get on in the future. I like tarantulas as long as they're 'caged'. Don't get me started on Rats. Lets just say I've had over 60 since 1998 :-D . I think older generations traditionally dislike snakes, rodents and what not. Folks who are raised around these critters generally tolerate them, if not out right enjoy them.

I'm not scared of snakes. At one point, I had two corn snakes, two brazilian rainbow boas and a red tailed boa.
Now spiders... that's a different story

i am not scared of snakes, i think the girls who are need to get there heads checked, or something. being afraid of them is fine, but not all girls are, there are girls like me who hike, trying to find snakes to observe or help if they are stuck, i dig up worms, bugs, anything. i am what most girls would refer to as couragous, even though it is nothing to get hyped up about, except the boys love that i like the stuff they are into also.

some of the girl are scared of snake not all!even some of the boys are scared of snake too!

well, it's a natural instinct to be scared of something that can kill you with one bite. It's similar to the way preys are scared when they see predators. Are you saying that guys are not afraid of snakes? no way....

I know lots of girls that are not scared of snakes and I know many guys that are scared of snakes. Snakes are kinda creepy. They slither and they have fangs.

I would like to correct that.....even boys are scraed also with snakes coz I do...thats the scariest animal i hate most. I really really dont snakes coz im afraid.
