When I was in New York a few years ago they had a sports drink called Gatorade. Is it on sale in the uk?
Also, there was a sports drink with a picture of a golfer on the can. does anyone know what it is called and if it is sold in the uk?

Powerade seemed to be pretty common when I was living in Europe. I didn't see much of the Gatorade brand beverage, though. They're both similar, but I prefer Gatorade as Powerade tends to taste like some watered down sugar water to me. I'd suggest browsing online and seeing if you can't get some shipped over to you. Also, if there's any american military posts in your area, I know they always carry those kinds of american products. Good luck!

I have never seen it sold in the UK when i was out there.
If you own a shop you could probably make a killing by having it imported over though.

There's no Gatorade sold here. A friend of mine was just visiting from the US and was mad that we didn't have it but said they had it in France and Italy.

Yes this isotonic drink is sold in silver 500ml cartons usually in health , cheap drug stores price 49p,pound shop x2 .

gatorade is owned by pepsi, powerade is owned by coke so i doubt they are the same drink!!!
they are similar in the sense that they are like squash.
