Do you like cops?

Let me put it to you like this. I know lots of cops... And the one thing I have found always true..... There are more criminals behind the badge then in front of it. They are not there to protect you. They are there to Police you. Try calling the cops if you are being robed. They will tell you they will send out an officer as soon as they have one available. Two hours later maybe someone will show up to investigate the crime after it was committed. And don't even think they will ever catch the criminal. They will more than likely investigate you for setting up the whole thing. Accusing you of insurance fraud.
I have realized that most cops are dishonest. The way you can tell this is ask yourself one question... Who is a cops worst enemy? No it is not a criminal. It is IA. Internal Affairs. Why? Because IA are the people that monitor the cops. And prosecute when misdoings occur. They are generally hated by all cops. Called snitches, stool pigeon's, and rats. Why is that? If all cops were honest then they would have nothing to fear from IA. Isn't that what they always tell us? If you didn't do anything wrong then you wouldn't have anything to fear....
And anyone who has had dealings with cops... Anything from a small traffic ticket to a major offence will realize they lie there asses off. They will change the story, manufacture evidence. Anything they can to win there case. It's appalling. People make fun of Lawyers and hate us. But I tell you this Cops are the ones you should all be afraid of.
It has been this way since they went from "Keepers of the Peace", To "Law enforcement" Now they are taught that they are Gods and we have to listen to them whenever they speak. We are subservient to them and they are superior to the civilians out there. It's an us against them attitude. And they live it. They will protect there own. They will cover up any wrong doing by a fellow officer. Hell, about 3/4 of the cops I know, MALE AND FEMALE, are spousal abusers. And who are there spouses going to call?.... Yeah you guessed it... NOBODY! They are forced to sit there and take it.
So in answer to your question. NO I DON'T LIKE COPS!!!

Not really, but I wouldn't ever not consider being one in the future. I don't like the crooked cops who lie and frame innocent people or the ones who sit in Dunkin Donuts all day not doing anything at all. And if you are talking about the show on FOX, I love it.

I like cops based on who they are, not based on what select few "bad cops" do. I like the show too!! lol!!

Policeman are our friends....
They are here to protect
and to serve.
I used to see a sign -
"If you don't like cops,
next time you are in trouble,
call a hippie!"

These guys are just trying
to make a living and it is their
job to enforce the law.

The BAD cops usually get
weeded out and sent off
somewhere, so just steer
clear of them!
They are trouble.
Their superiors know about
them and they ARE watching them.

For the most part, cops are
just like we are - how would
YOU behave if YOU were a cop?

yes, they are my co-workers
not all are bad. Most are really good guys, that if you met on the street in plain clothes, you wouldn't even realize they were cops
