yes cocoa butter does minimize scars...but you have to apply it 2x a day and everyday. also the gel caps of vitamin E also minimize scars. but once again you have to apply it at least 2x a day for it to work.

I've never heard of calamine lotion helping with scar removal. There isn't much that can really make a difference to scaring but rosehip oil is excellent and cheap. Give it a try. Perhaps when you can afford it visit a laser clinic and ask for their advice.

I must say that speaking from expirience, the only thing that I've found that works to remove acne scars is Microdermabrasion. I really have tried EVERYTHING that you can buy for home use, from drug store products to department store products, and none of them do what they say they can. Microdermabrasion gets underneath the scars to reveal your naturally beautiful skin. And I'm not talking about the do-it-yourself microderm kits at the store (they suck) I mean actually going to an esthetician and having it done. It's not painful or uncomfortable, but it can be expensive. The best thing about it though is you see results RIGHT AWAY, no joke. I would look into it If I were you!

Cocoa butter with Vitamin E works quite well on scars, but you have to use it often and it DOES take time. Palmers Cocoa Butter makes a nice stick (like large chapstick) that's easy to apply and keep with you. I've used that on my face for years and I have no scars anymore and very soft skin.
Also Vitamin E softcaps work well on scars too, just break one open and apply to scars.
I had surgery and the doctor recommended that, and it works as well, just have to remember to do it!
Good luck!

One of the best products to help treat acne and its scarring is either Freederm or Quinoderm. Both similar in principle, just boils down to personal preference. Medicated creams specifically designed to combat problem skin.

i have a few stretch marks on my arm and they were very very pink and noticable, i used palmers coca butter with shea butter and q10 its about £5 in boots and its not got rid of them completely as nothin will but they are barely visible and i noticed its effects in 2 weeks applyin 2x a day.
its in a bottle with a pump on top so its easy to get out and its specifically for pregnancy and weightloss so i would say it should work on scars too.

Check out this awesome product called Even Complexion Essence. It's fabulous! It helps you even your skin tone. It reduces the appearance of any skin discoloration, i.e. acne scares, age spots, etc. It immediately leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth! It works gradually, but you will be able to see results in as little as 4 weeks!! ^_^ Btw, it's also anti-aging!
P.S. I <3 Green Day too!

I don't believe either of the items you mentioned do, but I do know that Vitamin E oil minimizes scars, and if the acne scars are relatively recent, tea tree oil can help. Otherwise, you might try microdermabrasion.
