You need to be more specific let me think that ur Ram has been causing the system to run slow just press CTRL + ALT+ Del and see the performance tab u will see the Ram Memory usage..
If its not with the ram if u want about the memory usage on the Hard Drives just right click on the drive and click properties u will see the free space.

The most common reason for computers to slow down is too much junk on disk, too many programmes running at the same time.
CCleaner (a free download) will clean up the junk. Back up files you need but do not use often.and delete from hard drive. Defragment your hard drive
These are simple tasks that should be done routinely.
When completed reboot and see if thengs have improved

Your computer can run slow because you are running low on either RAM memory or hard disk memory.
Finding out which is low, depends on your computer.
If you have a PC, it is likely to be slow due to running low on RAM, this will happen if you are running too many programs. As the others have indicated you can find this out by running the task manager (SHIFT + CTRL + DELETE) and select TASK MANAGER, the processor graph will display how much RAM you have left.
If you have an Apple, it could be either due to low disc space (causing SWAP problems if you are running low on RAM) or RAM due to running too many programs (and the Apple is thrashing).

there's actually two ways u can do that the first way is to go to my computer under hard disks drive should see ur GB usage...if u want to see the percent simply go to programs > accessories >System Tools > Disk Defragmenter then in the disk defragmenter on the top u should see the total capacity u have in ur computer and then the free space u have in both GB and percentage...good luck..if u still don't understand than u can contact me...good luck..

Just open up "My Computer" and click on your c drive. It will tell you how much free space you have. The next thing you can do is scan your hard drive for system errors under your "System Tools" and then you need to defragment it.

try rebooting if you feel a lot of slowdown, usually helps with memory problems, etc. and keep the Task Manager open to keep an eye on the processes.

RAM has many names, and 'free memory' is one of them.
To get it, do this:
Start> Programs> Accessories> SystemTools>SystemInformation !
There you will find your remaining memory, in Bytes.
