I keep getting survey companies phoning me and I don't answer the phone, since I searched the numbers and found who they are. But they insist on continuing to call. I already belong to the DO NOT CALL LIST , what else can I do to stop the same company from calling me over and over?

They have been asked to not call anymore, since I donot want to participate, but the calls still keep coming in. I understand the DO NOT CALL dosent cover this, but what can be done when a caller keeps calling after you tell them to stop calling you?

start breathing heavy like a sex phone call. Start speaking in another language. report them to the Do Not Call List. pickup/hangup. start asking personal questions about the caller. call forward them to the local FBI office. answer the phone "Dominos Pizza, can I help you". Give the phone to a small child to talk (2-4 yrs old). answer, tell them to never call you again and take you off their list.

Since survey institutions do not honor DO NOT CALL LISTS because we all Americans have the right to be heard. But not all Americans are not willing to participate but unfortunately survey does not fall into DNC that's why they keep calling you.
Now, these survey organizations are not forcing you either to participate not unless you don't have a valid reason why you don't want to participate. Telling them you belong to DNC list, they will not honor because they are not fall under that. Better say to them the real reason why you dont want to participate except....you dont have enough time....you are in DNC...not interested...or hung up the phone without further explanation. Interviewers will keep calling you if you will not provide them a valid and reasonable statements. Respondents also have rights to refuse questions that are not comfortable answering with. Or you can ask all about your rights involved in their survey.

ok, right this is my 5 cents properly worth; i admire Verizon and T-cellular even although another answerers gave them undesirable comments. yet enable me inform you why. a million. Verizon has a function that facilitates you to call anybody on the community for loose. I forget approximately what it is referred to as; it has a catchy call. 2. My mom and dad have been undertaking to an evacuation by way of wildfires so the only telephone they had (as properly the single in the inn) became into their cellular telephone. Their bill went by the roof. Verizon gave all evacuees on their community some a reimbursement because of the fact they knew they have been making use of their telephones better than they many times might. My human beings have been given $a hundred+ back. So this gave me a sturdy feeling approximately them. 3. My husband has used T cellular for artwork and that i assumed it had some fairly extreme-high quality good factors and the relationship became into constantly fairly sturdy. by no skill any dropped calls. i needed the organisation my husband works for had stayed with T cellular--they are with Nextel now. 4. T cellular has Faves so which you would be able to upload your mom and dad on your Faves alongside with a chum or 2 and it will all fee an identical. 5. I regarded right into a plan of theirs one time and it had a lot of minutes, infinite nights and weekends for sort of $70. i assumed it became into notably actual looking. If shall we've adequate money it i might pass with a sort of companies. yet we are strapped so we've a pay as you go telephone besides. That works for us. did no longer propose to place in writing a e book right here yet it is my answer.

You would have to answer the phone and ask that company to not call you again. Surveys are not covered by the Do Not Call list, so the calls are legal....until you ask them to put you on their list.

Just as they get started, I usually say, "Would do me a favor?"

"Sure."

"Would you place me on your do not call list?"

"Sure, I would be happy to."

I've found if I'm pleasant about it, they are too.

However, sometimes, I just don't want to have to bother with even that. In those cases, I just quietly hang up.

Tell them you don't wish them to call ever again. They have been given fair warning and will be fined $500 per offense after this warning. They have 24 hours to comply. If they don't stop, file a police report each time. They do indeed have to pay $500, it's a federal crime.

You need to tell them not to keep calling you. If they don't stop report them via the Do Not Call List laws.

As soon as they ask if you will participate, tell them no and tell them to put you on their do not call list. Charities and non-profit organizations are excluded from the donotcalllist. you have to tell them to put you on their list.

Make sure your phone number is entered into the Do Not Call Registry at https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx. If they continue, report them on that same site.
