The Dems were up in arms about the 1st Amendment when the New York Times published classified info. But now they want to control ABC because of "Pathway to 911". Hypocritical I think.

Seems to me the right side of the isle was up in arms when Micheal Moore did his so called documentory. I as a liberal personally think it is irresponsible for ABC to air this in an election year so close to elections. From what is published it is filled with errors in order to dramatize it. I have no objection to them airing this movie, I just hope that people take it for what it is and that is fiction based on events. It might very well be very entertaining.

I think that the propaganda piece, "Path to 9/11" should be shown in it's entirety AFTER the November elections. It is obvious that this cheesy manipulated pile of crap was created and funded by the the right-wing to sway the electorate (not all that sophisticated to begin with) to vote for candidates who support the Bush regime's rape of America. That ABC would participate in such a sham seems to indicate that they have either been intimidated or infiltrated by the fascist elements trying to totally control America for their own benefit.

There's a substantial difference between a letter-writing campaign asking a station not to air a show, and a law forbidding it.

I am fine with the first (and certainly conservatives used it opposing the movie on Reagan), but absolutely opposed to the second.

I believe everyone, even ill-informed radicals and idiot racists, have the right to speak their minds. The rest of us, however, have the right to tell TV stations that we're not going to watch them anymore if they give such folks airtime. That's the other side of free speech.

I fully defend ABC's right to create, produce, and put a crappy made-for-tv-movie full of lies on the air. Same goes with Moore, Coulter, and every other political wackjob on the planet. Free Speech baby!

The 1st Amendment is only important to people when it's convenient to them. When it puts you in a bad light, all of a sudden people want to do away with the 1st Amendment and stifle any and all opposition.

Publishing classified info has nothing to do with the first ammendment rights. That's why it is called CLASSIFIED!

hahahahahahah apparently you haven't heard the screams from both sides of the aisles. GOPs are screaming liberal bias, liberals are screaming GOP bias.....I'm watching the CBC Newsworld where I might actually get an unabiased analysis of what happened with 9/11.
