Wow, there's a fair bit of Yorkshire-bashing on here today!!
I think it's because men are seeking the thrill of an extra-marital affair, virtual or otherwise and that many women are so desperate to believe that the next man they meet is Mr. Right, so they believe all they are fed.

The ones who DO are liars and cheaters. They do it on the internet because they can get away with it there. There are women who do the same thing. Not ALL men do, and not all women do.....you just have be careful until you can get to know someone. Don't take Anything at face value.

Well.. you get their names and you do a search on the electoral register, that should tell you the names of any other people living with them... If they can't give you their home phone number then you know they've got something to hide.
I've found a couple out to be liars.. There's a lot of information you can find out about a person on the internet...

Simply because some men, especially those cruising the internet, were born to play games in life, and this is simply another game. Look at it this way .... if you are out fishing in the river, you don't show the fish the hook, line and sinker, do you? Anyway, men are the eternal optomists when it comes to women and anything that will reel them in quicker is fair game ..i.e. remove that wedding ring!
Oh, apologies to those men out there, like myself, who play by the rules ....

My friend recently found out about one such twit who did just that - but got his gf's email and sent her a message asking her if she'd like to see the pics she has. He's disappeared from online completely now. How convenient.

Lillian, I assume you are quite young/niave! (else just bitter or /sarcastic)
men don;t just tell that lie on the internet! They say it in pubs, on the street, anywhere, cos they want to get laid! they also give you false work/home/tel numbers etc.
Even when they tell you they are "sperated" that usually means ( i am not with my wife right now, cos I'm out, but I will see her when I get home)!!
Don;t look for men on the internet, look for men that you can get some referneces on, from friends/colleagues/family etc.
Always look at their wedding hand for signs of a ring or removed ring, numbers on their mobile, photos in wallet etc, and who they introduce you too. If you don;t get intorduced at some stage to their feriends, it's cos they might tell the wife! And if they always want to take you out of town, you know why!
Right man will come along, when you stop worrying about it.
Don't get bitter, every experince enhances us as people, and are just one of the gstitiches ij the great tapestry of life.,
