I have a cabin in the Ozarks and was wondering if it is possible that there may be ley lines in that area, as it feels "different," for lack of a better word. I am also interested in a map/series of maps that shows many of the ley lines of the world. If anyone has any general information on this topic or anything that may be of interest, I would ber very appreciative of access to the appropriate links. If anyone knows of any related ideas, I would be very interested to hear about them as well. Thank you!

Okay, matt. Thanks for the response, but it was completely uninformative in any manner that would be appropriate to the actual question. First of all, I wrote this on behalf of my mother, ReBecca, so do not aim anything at her, but rather at me. Secondly, I in no way believe that this is a question that belongs in the occult section. How is this something related to an occult??? We saw it on the Discovery Channel being introduced by people of ALL fields of study, including scientists, though you say they neglect to see them as "real." I do not believe that you can speak for all of them anyway. Next, the reason that I posted this question here is because this is where my yahoo web search of "MO ley lines" brought me to. Therefore, I thought it an appropriate place to post a question of a similar idea. As far as your statement that "The Ozarks region is beautiful enough to make us feel renewed and happy without trying to give it any mystical powers," keep it to yourself. That's wonderful that you have that opinion, and I agree that it is a beauty unlike most, but you cannot tell others how to feel about the same thing. You do not live there, I am assuming, and until you do, how can you possibly know that there are not "mystical powers" to be felt? Next time maybe you should answer with some sort of relevance to the topic and show some respect to other peoples' ideas.

This is probably a question that belongs in the "occult" section rather than the science section. There is a lot of info on the web about Ley lines and related topics, but you won't find it in science books or on any science webs. Ley lines are not regarded as "real" by geologists or physicists.
