by signing the DO NOT CALL list bill?

2006-09-09 05:33:39 · 12 answers · asked by Anonymous in Politics & Government Politics

I remember reading back then that it was about a million.

I apologize if that figure is not accurate.

Personally, I would have prefered a "DO CALL" list, where they cannot call unless we put our phone numbers on the list. We could have fit the entire list on a 3.5" floppy (SMILE) and saved millions....

LOL........Yes Absolutely he was right. He listened to the voice of the people who did not want to have their peace and quiet infringed upon any longer. There are still telemarketers, but there are more stringent rules to be followed, so you can relax.

NO. Instead I heard that he was going to reinstate it, but instead have them all call you...all 1 million of them. What you don't realize is how many of the people were actally based in the US. Sure sound like a lot of foreigners to me (hint hint) Some things you probably could call Bush on, but here you are scraping the bottom of the barrel pal. Is it wrong to employ pop-up blocker? Because you taken money away from the companies and inturn they have to fire people. Please don't quit your day job

He had to make room for the 25 million illegal immigrants Vicente Fox was sending him to break down the lower and middle classes labor market. Republicans have always believed that if you starve an American, and instill him with hatred and fear, he will overcome his burdens the Republicans impose on you. This has always been a management to labor tactic for ever. They will squeeze you until you can't be squeezed anymore.

YES!
I am tired of getting up to answer the phone. And of course, they always call in the evening. The ones that call in the daytime fill my message machine up, so important calls can't get through.
