Would you spend more $ for your dad who loves you but he always nags & picks on you when he's in a bad mood OR for your bf who loves you too, but could be cheating and never gave you anything (gift)?
Sorry for the nonsense question but I've started to shop for Christmas!

You should buy for your dad out of respect for who he is. He is your father above all else. Why do you want to spend money on someone who does not respect you or treat you the way you deserve to be treated (your bf)? More importantly, why are you in a relationship with this man?

Don't all dads nag and pick at times. If he loves you then you are lucky. I'd buy him the gift. It's only September. Your dad will still be there for you in December. A cheating boyfriend may not, nor does he deserve a gift. Save the money. If he's still around Dec. 24. . . .maybe.

I'd say heck with them both and spend it all on me but since it's you, your dad loves you no matter what mood he's in. Spend more on him then turn around and give him the cheating boyfriend's gift too. :D Happy Shopping.

Break up with your boyfriend and get your dad a really nice gift. Every dad nags and picks on thier children when their in a bad mood...its better than him getting drunk and beating you isn't it. But a realationship with out trust or selflessness is not a relationship.

dad duhh.
your dad will be your dad forever. without him, where would you be? he loves you no matter what, even if he is in a bad mood or anything. unbeknownst to you, he may be suffering from stress or whatever. he has cared for you since you were young and he deserves something good!
your bf on the other hand...... let's just say he doesn't deserve something so good. if you suspect he is cheating on you, chances are he probably is.

Why not take the focus off how much you spend and think about what they would like that you can afford?
But if your boyfriend never gave you a gift and could be cheating on you I would suggest his gift be a swift kick out the door.

Wow u started christmas shopping my mum doesn't start till november! Anyways lol for ur Dad cause ur dad will be ur dad 4eva ur boyfriend is temopary ! ur dad is UR blood ur dad raised u! And you just feel in love wth some boy and u don't know if he is cheating on u! I would say father and try talking to ur father privately about the picking on u ok !

Your father is always there for you, and will always love you. Sounds like the bf just wants to receive, and if you think he is cheating, let him move on, he doesn't deserve you or a gift.

I'd go with the dad. He'll hopefully be around for the long haul, and probably has genuine love for you. The boyfriend, on the otherhand (especially the cheating boyfriend) may not be around much longer, and I would question his "love" if he really is unfaithful.

Dad--he will ALWAYS be there for you, no matter how grumpy he gets..If your man cheated on you and gave you a Disease, your Dad would meet you at the hospital, take you home, and take care of you for how ever long he had to.
