like calling eachother n*gger and and sayin bad stuff about black people when they are black. if us white people said that stuff they would get mad.

When they use that slur with each other, they are taking the negativity out of the word and taking back ownership of the word. By calling themselves that they are also acknowledging their identity - that they are black.
Words get their meaning not just from being spoken, but from the context - who is saying it and the circumstances.
It is racist when a white person says it because it is meant to be derogatory and to put down a black person. You also have to look at the history between white people and black people to fully understand the meaning. White people had black people as slaves, not the other way around.

Because the ones who use the "N" word are ignorant, and don't think about the original implications of the word. I don't see it as racism, but most certainly ignorance, well to be ignorant you have have to not know, so I guess I'll say stupidity. I have never used, and will never use that word, but I do seriously blame the media for perpetuating this behavior.

Yeah I agree, its a black thang. lol! Im hispanic and we crack jokes on our peeps. Sometimes our own race gets on our own nerves because they do stupid things and they complain later why Americans treat them bad..Well I wonder why!

One, because they try to show they don't care about white people think about them even if they don't care at all. Two, because this will never be their home they try to be polite. I'm not racist I just see what I see.
