i grew up traveling w/ my family be it across the country or around the world and it seems like the stress level is always there. usually i take travel companions such as books, a music device such as an ipod or mp3 player, cd player, portable dvd player, crossword puzzles, something to entertain me or distract me from the noise around u. it all depends on how ur traveling and w/ who ur traveling. i survived a 27 hour ride to california from texas in a 21 passaenger van that had 25 people in it. if i can do it(my patience is shorter than u would ever believe) anybody can find a way to reduce stress. i also find ground traveling, if possible, to be much more comfortable than anything else.i had never travelled by air until i was 24 and i still dont like it. i was on prescribe sedatives the whole time to reduce anxiety and it still didn help 100%

I don't know what about traveling stresses you, but traveling for
fun shouldn't be a stress. First of all, do you plan well? That is
a real point, to know that when you leave your home all things
have been considered and taken care of. The car has been thoroughly readied for a trip. You know where you are going and
have reservations etc. If you belong to triple A you can get your
trip planned. There is a trip tic, a map with your route lined out, and other helpful things. If you don't have triple A , you can go
on line and route your trip. Or at the very least study a good road map. I wish you a good trip!

Fins something that you like to do which feels safe and relaxes you, for instance writing, painting any "activity" wich feels good to you which you can take with you anywhere. I also recomend something with a little Zen, for instance try meditating or focusing on certain objects that feel good to you. It takes practice but it does help with stress, not just travel stress.

5 drops of skullcap tincture in your tea will relax you and calm your nerves/stresses. You can find it in any health food store.
