Well it do seem like rap is starting to lack original flavor. Imitation is the greatest compliment and those rappers that you mentioned, know that 2Pac had a lasting effect on rap and still remains the number one selling rap artist even after his death. I guess they are trying to have that lasting effect in people's hearts and minds but they forgot one thing that made 2Pac stand out and that is uniqueness and not trying to be someone else.

of the 3 examples you gave only one seems like pac to me only for the fact that nas isnt the average rapper talking about material things and if that says you wanna be like pac then i welcome that. i like to hear intellegent raps

well most artist have someone who's style they liked and often imitate that person to some degree. I think they see how well pac did and want his same success.
