It's a Michael Bay movie--since when have his movies ever had any plot? I predict a massive assortment of random bits of technology that serve no apparent purpose except that they look cool on screen (especially helicopter blades rotating in slow motion), extreme to the max chase scenes where we don't know who is chasing who and why (but it will look extremely cool, to the max!), and enough explosions to give a fireworks fetishist a joygasm.
There will be no plot--the concept of Transformers alone encompasses all of the above and will be sufficient for Michael Bay.
Needless to say, I'll be one of the first in line. Sounds like a good thrill ride.

Some evil genius will come up with a plan to acquire world domination. The transformers disguised as cars and lorries will race to a secret location, battles the forces of evil and triumph. Good will kick the butt of evil and peace will be returned.

The decepticons will want to destroy the earth, the transformers will want to stop them, just like the series! i love transformers, i hope to god it is all robots instead of stupid human actors getting in the way of the action i can't wait to see megatron on the big screen!

You are making a HUGE assumption.......how can you be sure here will be a plot. It'll be robots turning into cars and vice versa with some occasional violence mixed in
And who wouldnt go and see THAT movie:)

I bet its a big conspiracy theory.... all these "machines" we have around us will change into sentient robots... some evil and some good... I'm getting paranoid now, looking at my toaster just a bit differently...
