Every time I see a World War documentary on T.V. , and see the names on the Japanese planes and equipment, that killed a lot of Americans, On the cars that some people drive in America. It is like a slap on the face. On all the brave Americans that died in the War. Its like rebuilding the Twin Towers with material from Iran.

Most Hondas and Toyotas sold in the USA are built here in the USA.

Most of the content from the big 2 1/2 comes from other countries. There was a law that counted Canada as American for labelling purposes, and now it includes Mexico.

It pains me that American manufacturers and their employees don't put forth whatever effort it takes to design and build a better car, that is as good as those two brands.

Competition does improve the breed, and the differences in quality is diminishing, but all cars are getting better because of competition.

Do some research, approximately 22 more hours go into assembly of a Honda Goldwing as compared to a Honda Civic. Both vehicles are manufactured and assembled here in the USA under the UAW Union. Don't shoot off your mouth without knowing all the facts.

Its not Japan that you got to worry about now, its China, but then why worry about something that you cannot control, Global trade, we all have to trade with each other for the population of the world to benefit.

The world has changed into trading blocks now, the days of trade embargos are long gone, competition is in and I see that GM have just started sales of the great Saturn Sky sports cars, that is the way to get the market share back. That car is the business and you will see US buyers going after it in droves, they are starting to already!

Well, I own a Volkswagon, but I can tell you that most of the parts in your Chevrolet were made in Mexico? Now, how proud are you? Honda and Toyota have manufacturing plants here in the United States with US employees.
