Evolution does occur within the species. Cross-species evolution is unproven and is probably a scientific impossibility. I'll explain.
When something evolves it ceases to be because it is 'replaced' by the 'evolved' model. The best proof that Man did not evolve from Apes is that Apes still exist. The missing link has never been found that would 'prove' that Man and Ape came from a common ancestor. So in this regard evolution remains a theory and not a scientific fact.
Science has not found proof that Modern Man cross-bred with any other primordial humanoid such as Neanderthal Man. Such a union, if it ever occurred and resulted in a viable offspring, would birth a "hybrid." It is a scientific fact that 'hybrids' are born... Sterile. A modern example is the Mule, a cross between a horse and a donkey which is always... Sterile.
A more likely scenario is that Modern Man 'killed-off' Neanderthal and the other humanoids. Considering that we can't even get along with each other is this speculation so hard to believe?
What remains unexplained scientifically is where we came from. Science labors to fit the abrupt appearance of Modern Man into the Theory of Evolution. The simplest explanation, Creation, is unacceptable to the stalwart man of science who believes himself too smart and sophisticated to believe in God. To him I pose the following question:
"When has it ever been known that a monkey birth anything other than a monkey?" Inquiring minds want to know.

Because, to date, it fits the models observed better than any other theory. IT is a brilliant model, based on observations only....it takes a very keen, open mind to see patterns as observed by Darwin, and an even keener one to put them into perspective. In all the years that have passed since the theory was first proposed, a better model has not been developed..that says a lot about the original theory and Darwin. Why wouldn't people accept it as a valid theory...NOT fact, but a theory? No one with even a trace of sanity could accept the time line presented in the Bible...but, if we accept that the words of the bible are metaphors, then it all agrees...there are no points of contention. Good luck

It is the only theory supported by physical evidence. Ever heard of a Dinosaur?
You no doubt ask that question because you were taught to believe in "creation' during your formative years, 1-6 and there is no way that you can escape that part of your life.
Religion has it's purpose, but consider the fact that it has caused more wars, more death and destruction than any other belief.
Mankind has not even scratched the surface when it comes to knowing who and what we are and Religion is too full of inconsistencies that rely on pure unsupported belief.
However you believe, doesn't matter, you are obviously a part of an unchangeable program from the color of your eyes to the tip of your toes. You have a limited ability to make decisions regarding your personal being and you have the ability to think, within certain limits.
You choose to believe rather than think, That is your choice, but you have no right to question how other people think or believe. That is what make hypocrites according to the words of Jesus Christ.
Now! Any more questions?????

I believe it because after I read his work and understood how he came to his theory his line of thinking is very rational. He was an excellent observer. I have seen living physical examples of evolution. We have a snake here that has four tiny legs that are useless to him, they don't move and seem not even to have nerves. Snake evolved from salamanders. It is logical change or die. Birds may have evolved from some dinosaurs. Some dinosaurs had hollow bones like birds, only birds are suppose to have hollow bones. There is also an example of a bacteria that changed it's eating processes so it could eat the waste sludge from plastic making. This bacteria evolved to be able to consume a man made chemical compound. There are more examples for Darwin's line of thinking than any Natural Scientist ever.

A lot of People believe or accept Darwin's theory of evolution because it makes sense. Even in the molecular level of science all forms of existance spring forth from somethng else and adapt to survive in its environment. Viruses do it and in some case diseases do it. Admittedly there are sidelong flaws in evolution but when it was conceived the ideas were revolutionary to the science community and sprung forth other ideas of science that have been actually proven as scientific fact.
If one looks at the full ramifications of the theory one can see a system of adaptation that is evident and explains certain mystery organs of the human body Such as but not limited to, "Wisdom Teeth" and the Appendix, that strange organ in the abdomin that serves no purpose but to get inflammed and leak poison into the body's blood system. These are left over pieces of the human body that once understood could date back to when they served a purpose. Like chewing bone to digest the marrow within (as in the teeth....or purifying the body's fluids as in the organ...in today's world we have grown beyond those functions and no longer need them to survive, which explains why we, as humans, remove them when they propose a problem to the health and welfare of the human body.
Let us assume that human's did not evolve from apes...but that humans and apes are cousins evolving from the same common ancestor who shared traits of both species one developed into the various forms of humans that have been found in the world through foxxillized history and one evolved into the various forms apes and chimpanzees
If the same idea exists in the way of natural phenomena, then why is the concept of evolution...or more aptly ...adaptation and mutation....so difficult to understand and accept?

I have listed a source that contains many of science's answers to creationist objections about evolution. It seems to be the view of a majority of scientists that the theory of evolution is the best explanation for the data that they have collected. Many uninformed intelligent design arguments rely on a misunderstanding of Science. They may argue that there are not animals in a state of evolution, for example a half fish, half bird animal, but the fail to realize that there have been fossils of these types of animals found.

Well, for a start, if you can only comment with regards to Darwin, your info is around 150 years out of date. Amazing as it may be for you to comprehend, science has actually expanded quite a bit upon that theory since.
Notice there I used the word "theory" and not "hypothesis"?
I'll leave you and your seemingly inadequate intelligence to figure out the relevence of that...because THAT, dear boy, is the answer to your "question".

There is so much scientific proof through fossil records, DNA, and observation of animals has proven such things. And, while Darwin was merely observing, later we found his theories were rooted in proof. Just look around. I believe it. There is no concrete evidence of Creationism or that God created man, the heaven, the earth, and all planetary bodies.

true scientist believe that Darwin was right about very few FAQs about evolution his theory was purely threw observation but now that we have DNA testing we have found that every creature on earth shears about 80% of our over all DNA it is more of a common belief that we where always human we came from neanderthals not monkeys witch stands to reason to be a far better theory than an species to spices evolution

98% of our total DNA is the same as a chimpanzee. Over 80% of human genes are identical to mice genes (yes it means we along with all the other primates evolved from mice). Many of the same genes found in our DNA can be found in plants and bacteria. The genetic evidence proves that all life on this planet is connected to a common origin, and evolution is the process responsible for this connection. To deny this denies reason.
