Bordeaux salt goes by many names, including Benzenamine and 4-Methoxy-2-nitroaniline, per ref.1. Its empirical formula is C7H8N2O3 and it is an intermediate in the production of aniline dyes. The plant fungicide Bordeaux mixture, used especially against late potato blight, is a mixture of calcium hydroxide and copper (II) sulfate (ref. 2).
