Well Saheeb, why dont you get a job as zoo curator and find out for yourself. Then you can allow the allow allowed to allow.

Because it is unfair to the animal put in the cage as food. It's not a fair contest - in the wild the prey has a chance to escape, but it would have no chance in a caged environment.
Also, do you think this would be popular with the customers at London zoo? Come and watch our lions slowly kill a cow while it screams in pain and agony and makes futile efforts to escape? Would the little kids enjoy watching it and pay to come back again?

How could a caged animal hunt, there's no room in a cage, or were you thinking of the wildlife parks where they roam free??
You couldn't allow a caged animal to hunt because there's no room in the cage and hunting is when you have freedom to stalk. It would be cruel to allow any caged animal to hunt in it's cage by putting live bait in with it, doing so would be unfair and downright monstrous.

Safety reasons and being civilised. think of it if u keep a lion in a cage and you give it live prey. the lion will still have its killer instinct. so if it does escape it will be allot more deadlier than if you gave it choped up meat. you could say it sub dues the aggressiveness of the animal.

It's considered cruel to give animals with a backbone to predators to hunt.

because we are trying to be civilised but yet the westerners hunt "canned lions" in Africa.that is very civilised of course.

why human do not wany live like human happily instead in cage unhappy? i think we should not open mouth to contradict if its open but human want to closed.
