Illmatic > anything 2Crock ever put out
IWW > All Eyez on Me (an inconsistent double album that should have been condensed into one disc)

ktjokt - It's obvious that you don't know a lick about hip-hop, so kindly shut up. Please actually LISTEN to the music instead of letting Rolling Stone or The Sauce formulate your opinions. Y'all are some mindless drones. I'll put Nas up against any rapper (or other songwriter) verse for verse. Listen to the second verse of Life We Chose and tell me Nas isn't the G.O.A.T.

why are you people putting pac on a pedistal tho he had intellegent rhymes are you forgeting his less intellegent songs...i'm not saying hes great... but give nas his credit for doing something only a hand full of rappers have ever done... because tupac was as much a part of the gangster rap era as less credited rappers like ice t, or the west side connection.

Nas???? Are you serious???? What about Tupac, Ice Cube, Run D.M.C, Digital Underground, Public Enemy, Notorious B.I.G, Grandmaster Flash, the Sugar Hill Gang, Queen Latifah, Ice T, Coolio, Snoop Dog, Naughty by Nature, Dr. Dre, L.L. Cool J, Busta Rhymes????
Nas might be good, but to say he is the most profound in history, you are mistaken. All the people mentioned above set the standards for rap. They are the foundation of what rap is today. They paved the way for people like Nas as well as many other rap performers today.
Just read your comment to me!!! LOL!!!!!! I don't know lick about hip hop huh???? Hon, I was probably listening to rap back when your mommy was powdering your behind. Obviously you are too close minded to give credit where credit is due. Why don't you try listening to "The Message" by Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five. Or to just about ANY Tupac song. Or to " It Was A Good Day" by Ice Cube.
HAHAHHAAHA!!!!!! I am still laughing about what you said to me. Trust me when I say I don't read Rolling Stone and have no clue about the other magazine (or whatever it is) I formulate my opinions off of what I have heard over the many many many years that I have been listening to all sorts of music, INCLUDING rap.

I disagree with that
That is not a fact it is an opinion
I think Biggie is the most profound songwriter in rap history
He laid the foreground for all the rappers of today, and his sound is like no other

2Pac is always at his best. He is the best artist because he sold more albums than anyone so shut yo mouth. What you said is a not a fact 2Pac is the best. Nas sucks! He even said he was inspired by 2Pac.

Nas is hardly at his best. As you see I can't name one album that sold more than 9 million copies.
