People have been talking about everyone boycotting gas on a specific day to lower gas prices. I still don't know the date this would happen. That would be an important part of the boycott to make it work. I think it can work if it's done right. People say that it can't happen but I haven't seen anybody saying that you just fill up your tank the day before the boycott.

So the question is what day is this suppose to happen?

It is worth a shot. There is nothing to lose. The only thing you CAN lose is more money if this isn't tried.

Do you really believes that you pay too much for your gas!?

You pay what... US$3 per gallon...

I pay more than US$6 and I can't do anything!

Mad Scientist Matt has some reason, when he tells that... only a month boycott would send a message... not only for those who produce... but for those who earns a lot with the taxes...

Won't you see the news!? An Arab Oil Man was invited to a TV interview to tell people why the gas was so high... and he only said... I'm only responsible for 25% of the price of the gas... so don't ask it to me!

Have a nice day...

Unless you actually do something to reduce how much gas you use, rather than refusing to buy it on a certain date, the oil companies are just going to laugh off such a boycott. Now, a national gasoline boycott *month* would be something to consider if you wanted to send them a real message.

wont work, unless everyone feels like boycotting gas for a year or two. gas prices are not going to go down.
