Everyone is different. It also depends on why you had a c-section and if you had many hours of labor before hand. I had a very long labor and wouldn't dilate that last cm so after 28 hours they did a c-section. I was sore for a good week but I was able to move around and walk after a few days. The nurses helped me quite a bit. Then for my c-section to heal on the outside it took 6 weeks or so. Then on the inside to feel normal again it took longer probably closer to 11-12 weeks. Now this was my first child and I was filled with adrenalin and I just wanted to get out and let the world see her. I also was told by friends since I was planning on being a stay at home mom that it is so important to get out every day. Even if it means that you have to walk around walmart and not buy anything. I highly recommend getting out. Now I will have a planned c-section next so I am not sure how that will go. I heard it will go easier because I will be ready and know what to expect and I skip the whole contractions part. But I am a firm believer that if you want to recover faster you will. Now as for excercising you could probably do mild excercises like walking after a couple weeks. Then moderate to heavy will take about 8-16 weeks.

It depends on you and your situation. I had an emergency csection and my son was in the NICU so I didn't have a baby to take care of while trying to heal, so I healed mostly in about 2 weeks and was completely healed in 4 weeks. Now, at 6 months later my scar is only about an inch long.
Most people it takes 6-8 weeks to become fully healed. You shouldn't resume exercise until after your 6 week appointment, and only then when the clearance from your OB/GYN.

That depends on you. People are very different. I had one 4mos. ago, and am still sore under my incision. The only exercise I do is walking around my block, and keeping up with a 2yr. old and a 4mo. old. The soreness does get alot worse when I walk, or get very active. I couldn't walk comfortably (w/out feeling like my belly was gonna tear open) for about 9 weeks or more. That's just my personal experience.
Let me add that I'm sort of heavy. I hear small-frame people heal alot faster. (not as much weight pulling against incision).

I've had 3 c sections first 2 were 15 months apart you can start exercising as soon as you feel up to it!...but remember that if your scar starts to hurt or your belly in that area then maybe that's telling you something.... i was back in my pre pregnancy jeans 10 days after my first!...good luck

YOU WILL KNOW WHEN YOU ARE READY TO EXERCISE. IT TAKES A LITTLE WHILE TO HEAL COMPLETELY. YOU DO NOT WANT TO START TOO SOON BECAUSE YOU CAN CAUSE COMPLICATIONS. MY COUSIN HAD TO GO GET STITCHED UP AGAIN BECAUSE SHE TORE HER STOMACH BACK OPEN. TAKE IT EASY. START WITH A LITTLE WALKING FIRST.
