I'e been researching for so long, and I am now in need of some help. I need to know how many trees are cut down in canada weekly to produce paper products... like I need a study of it, and it doesn't have to be weekly. If you have a suggestion or know where I can find this, please please help me I am desperate.

The link below is a good resource. Logging is a good key word to describe the industry. Good luck in your research!

Let me explain how you can use a search engine like Google, Yahoo's "Search the web" or other.

Think of what you want, and express it either in quotes, combinations of words with plus or minus signs in front, or just one word. Enter it in the window.

For what you want, you might try forestry + Canada. Or logging +Canada. You are going to have to do some reading. The answer will probably not pop out at you instantly. Be patient.

You could use this phrase: "production statistics" +logging +Canada.

Find the addresses for the Forestry Commisions, the Departments of Forestry. If you can send them email, do so. If you have to, write to them.

Did you wait till the last minute. Oh, tsk tsk. Lesson to be learned here, eh?

And don't forget your library.

Check with Canadian paper companies. Their web sites often talk about their replanting efforts. I'm thinking of Weyerhauser or Boise Cascade.

It took me about two minutes on the internet to find what you're looking for. If I can find it so can you.
