Governer Jeb Bush signed a declaration of emergency allowing him to
call up the National Guard and put laws against price gouging into

What does it exactly mean?
Thanks!

No question is a stupid question. That's why people ask questions so they can learn. I guess the guy who answered your question first is smart and knows it all and never has to ask anyone anything. OK to your question now.
Price gouging is where stores will mark things way up when a storm or something is coming to make a big profit off of it....It`s so sad but it happens all the time

It never ceases to amaze me at just how little people know about the simplest of things.

If you are living in Florida when the next Hurricaine hits, and you have to pay $5 for a quart of milk or $8 for a gallon of gas... THEN you will KNOW WHAT price gouging is... believe me... you will never have to ask what it means again... and it's guaranteed to get you upset whenever you think about it once the hurricaine is over.

It means you cant rip people off for goods they need to survive during or after a disaster. People will take advantage of other people during a disaster just to be greedy because all they want is that almighty dollar. May they all burn in HELL.
