no,thats the first time i have ever heard about any sp3.official or unofficial
you should never install any updates or patches that have not been certified by microsoft except for
1)java updates(sun microsystems)
2)antivirus+spyware updates
3)official software updates(quick time,abode,macromedia ect)
you should keep your exceptions tab in windows firewall to a minimun as to avoid hackers using software that can detect firewalls with open connections, lots of p.c,s in the u.k have been used as "zombie p.c,s" which basically are lots of p.c,s used together to bring down a corporate server and sometimes hold companys to ransom until they pay up,so a secure firewall is a must

No not yet, SP3 for xp will be released after the release of windows vista by next year. Yet Ive seen pirated cds that says windows sp3, but i dont trust those, it might cause more harm than good to my computer. They may just contain some tweaks to be called sp3. Its worth the wait dude. My SP2 works fine.

There is no SP3 for Windows XP. I have the MSDN (Microsoft Developer Network) subscription. It's not even a beta for download.
