It is probably a ficticious number.... Some telemarketers and bill collectors show up on caller id that way because they don't have an actual incoming number to there direct lines and they don't want to show up as unknown or private because alot of people have blocks on unknown and private numbers coming through so there system generates a fake number to show up on your box so they can get through to your line.... I work for the phone company...

Usually the first two digits are the country code. Next the area code. Find your phone book and look up the country code then the area code. It will tell you what country and what city it is coming from.

Most phone books at the back of the book or at the front will list area codes for all states and countries. That would narrow it down somewhat for you.
