Nas is the GOAT. He writes the deepest, most profound lyrics of any rapper, dead or alive. 2Pac was a straight-up pussy who was only hard because of the people surrounding him (kind of like Feminem). Once in while, he would write a deep, poetic song, but that was rare. Nas, while not perfect, puts any rapper (or for that matter, ANY songwriter) to shame when he's at his best. You two are ignorant for thinking Nas sucks. He's the single greatest mind in the history of rap music.

Why do people keep bringing up record sales? Is MC Hammer better than, say, KRS-One or Rakim because he sold more albums? What absurd logic!

Nas is my favorite rapper tied with 2pac.I think it's a tie between Nas and 2pac. There both good lyricist. 2pac is as good as Nas too. There both from the hood and are both hard.Nas is the best from the east and the best alive.And 2pac is the best from the west. And I do agree it doesn't matter how many records you sale cause you can have one huge hit on an album but then the rest of the songs are weak.

Wow someone hates the dead. Go to your room! We all know that 2Pac has been titled the "greatest rapper" and until Nas can break 2Pac's record of selling more than 100 million I can't say Nas is 10x better.

Nas gave a new definition to the word sucks if you look it up your bound to see him in the dictionary. Nas has been dissed by 2Pac 2 times and Nas didn't have crap to say. He sucks compared to Pac and you know it. Heck he even said 2Pac is better than him. Nas said he took 5 like Pac but he didn't. Sure Nas can rap but not as good as 2Pac.
