Cancun is very Americanized.
It was intended to be so by the Mexican Government.

Nope, however the acceptance comes usually from pupils lodging at people's homes and being fed the main inexpensive and nastiest stuff the British supermarkets ought to furnish. i'm a Spaniard residing in England, I prepare dinner a mix of Spanish and English dishes and the kin loves it. Fish and chips are an magnificent dish, yet while it rather is made in oil that hasn't been replaced for an prolonged time, may be revolting. Bangers and mash, actual convenience foodwherever there replaced into some, yet lower back, if carried out with maximum inexpensive sausages and on the spot mash, in good shape purely for the garbage bin. See what I propose now?

EXPENSIVE.....
When I went I tried the local taco stands and they were cheap and sooo delicious. If you want authentic mexican food than take a cab ride a few minutes outside of Cancun.. they have cheap drinks and great food. If you want a 4 star resteraunt then try Hotels. They hire some of the best chefs in the world.

Pretty much the same as in any American resort. You'll find all the normal chains, plus a few fake Mexican places. You have to get away from the tourist area if you want authentic Mexican food.

i has awsome margarittas there at a huge chain mexican but my they were good and a fabulous steak at i think what must be a chain resturant (with a woman's name like Martha's or something) you will definitly not go hungry but the portions are huge so be careful not to over order!
